Our Story
A restaurant born from a love of food, family, and the vibrant city of Seattle.
How It Began
Banyan Tree Seattle opened its doors in 2018 with a simple mission: create a warm, welcoming space where the flavors of the Pacific Rim meet the bounty of the Pacific Northwest.
Our founder, inspired by years of travel across Southeast Asia and a deep love for Seattle's food culture, wanted to build something that felt like home — for everyone who walked through the door.
The banyan tree, with its wide canopy and deep roots, became our symbol. Like that tree, we aim to shelter, nourish, and bring people together.
What We Stand For
We believe restaurants are the living rooms of neighborhoods. Banyan Tree is a place to gather, celebrate, and connect.
We partner with Pacific Northwest farmers and fishermen to bring the freshest ingredients to your plate every season.
Every dish is prepared with intention — from hand-folded dumplings to slow-braised mains, quality is never rushed.
We'd love to share our table with you. Open daily 9am–3am.
